Today Fratelli Ponte owns approximately 20 hectares of vineyards in Monferrato, Langhe and Roero area.
Massimo, Ivan and Renato routinely have much of their time devoted to vineyard work as that’s where the real winemaking takes place. The work the soil, take care of weeding in the vineyards, prune the vines in the winter, manage the vines in the summer, thin the grape crop as necessary to obtain higher quality fruit and, of course, pick the grapes when the fruit is ripe.
Our vines, by the way, are harvested only by hand and we make a strict selection when picking so as to have only top quality fruit.
